Plenty of skating fun on the ice rink in Sluis!

Will you come (again) to enjoy skating on the ice rink in Sluis? From Saturday 13 December 2025 until Sunday 4 January 2026, the XXL skating rink will once again be set up on the Groote Markt in Sluis. Many children (and adults too) have plenty of skating fun there.

The ice rink in Sluis is so much fun precisely because you can skate around the "Wilhelminaboom". For the younger children, there is a separate 'toddler' rink where they can try out the basics of skating at their own pace. Aids are also available for this, such as a (support) bear.

In the evenings, the 'toddler' rink turns into 2 curling lanes on which the exciting curling competition is played.

Support in the region for a skating rink in Sluis is great. This is evident not only from the visitors who sometimes come skating several times, but also from the number of sponsors and the cooperation of the municipality of Sluis. The organisation is very grateful to all parties for this.

An entrance ticket for the skating rink includes skate rental. Of course, it is possible to bring your own skates. But please note: Norwegian skates and figure skates with toe picks at the front are not allowed on the rink. Important! Don't forget your gloves!
