At Restaurant 't Zwin we have one goal: to let you enjoy fresh products, delicious dishes, wonderful drinks and an incredibly cosy atmosphere. From a great cup of coffee with fresh pastry and a big smile in the morning, via a super-fresh lunch around midday and tasty tapas in between, to a complete dinner in the evening with all the trimmings. We make it a top experience!

't Zwin buzzes all day long

't Zwin is one of those places that buzzes all day long. Just like Sluis itself. It is always pleasantly busy. There is plenty going on, all day long.

In the morning
Start your day at a leisurely pace with a delicious cup of coffee and a fresh pastry. From the conservatory you gaze out over the Damse Vaart and watch the early birds, cyclists and walkers go by.

Around midday
Around midday you enjoy a fresh lunch, perhaps with a special tea. You look out over the growing crowd of people on the street. Maybe you will join them soon. But not just yet, enjoy a little longer.

Later in the day
Later in the afternoon you immerse yourself in the buzz of Sluis with tasty tapas, great music and perhaps even a cocktail. In your comfy seat on our heated terrace you can keep this up for hours!

In the evening
At the end of the day you take your time to be wonderfully pampered with culinary delights in our atmospheric restaurant. A crackling fire, some music, a glass of wine. What more could one want?

Our menu changes with the summer and winter seasons and our set menu even changes every month. But one thing always remains the same: whatever we prepare, it is always fresher than fresh.

Our family

Restaurant 't Zwin has been a family business since 1985. We are not only family because mother and son run the business, but above all because as colleagues we form a close-knit team. We enjoy our work and would go through fire for one another. We run our legs off, but always with a smile on our faces. And we do it all for you. We want you to feel welcome in our family!

Restaurant 't Zwin is the ideal place for a stop along the route of your walk or bike ride. You can easily park your bike here and the coffee is already waiting. From our restaurant and terrace you enjoy the cosy atmosphere of Sluis and look out over the beautiful water of the Damse Vaart.

Need some inspiration for enjoyable walking and cycling routes? Think of a loop along the ramparts of Sluis or a trip to Retranchement, Cadzand, Knokke, the Zwin Nature Reserve, Groede, Nieuwvliet, Zuidzande, Breskens, or simply the beautiful polder landscape near Sluis. There is plenty to experience in this region.

Everyone is welcome at 't Zwin. That is why we make sure that everyone can easily enter our restaurant. Our restaurant is also spaciously laid out and our restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
