Gerda Maes wins the grand prize of the "Scratch & Win campaign"
On Saturday afternoon 12 March, the tension was palpable in the Belfort of Sluis. The winners of the “Scratch & Win” end-of-year campaign Sluis were present there to attend the final draw and prize presentation. Vouchers with a total value of €10,000 were distributed.
The draw was conducted by means of a spinning wheel, which was set in motion each round by notary E. Verhaegen and his daughter. First, the vouchers worth €250 were drawn, followed by those worth €400. It became super exciting when only 2 winners remained: which of the two would go home with the grand prize of €1,000? In the end, that was Gerda Maes.
All prizes were presented by alderman R. de Feijter (municipality of Sluis) and Sancho Jansen (chairman of the Sluis Merchants Association).
