Mussel Weekend in Sluis, Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September
Zeeland mussels take centre stage in Sluis during the weekend of Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September. During the Mussel Weekend, various restaurants in the fortified town serve their own unique preparation of this Zeeland regional product. Every chef adds their own twist, allowing visitors to enjoy surprising flavours and specialities all weekend long.
Friday 11 September
From 12pm to 3pm, a "Preuvement" on the Beestenmarkt organised by Aqua Mossel Triton. Come and visit the Aqua Mossel Triton stand for a "preuvement' of the black gold. Cooking workshops with mussels will also be held, so you can prepare this delicacy at home too.

Saturday 12 September
The 3 Music Chefs provide extra atmosphere in the shopping streets of Sluis.
Colby Mucic roams the streets; singing along and dancing in the street is allowed.
Children can have their faces painted by Schminkies.
