De Groene Luifel.

De Groene Luifel has been a family business in Sluis (Zeelandic Flanders) for more than 50 years!
In June 1963, Mr. and Mrs. Van de Vijver - Braet started the shop as a grocery store.

In 1994 the interior was due for renewal and the shop was continued under the name De Groene Luifel and expanded with drugstore items.

In March 2003, after a very drastic renovation, the shop's floor area was more than doubled and completely fitted with a new interior.

The last change took place in June 2009.
We removed the tobacco shop, which was located in a separate room of the shop, and the resulting space was added to the original shop.
At the same time, we switched to a new cash register system, as this turned out not to be a luxury.

The notion that the 2009 change would be the last has since been overtaken by events, because in February 2013 another renovation took place for the pigeon products, the bird products, and products for dogs and cats!

At De Groene Luifel, we also keep up with today's wishes and possibilities. That is why we started in 2008 with the option of purchasing products online. More than 6,700 products have since been placed in the webshop, and this is still being expanded daily.

The entire team is at your service 7 days a week!
